Is that a euphemism?
Is that a euphemism?
I fear for what's to come given that this is just the fifth episode.
Yeah, I definitely picked up on the vibe between Brown and Will. Will almost seducing Brown to commit the crime.
We know that when Fuller casts homicidal weirdos with any significance to the main plot They Will Be Hot! Still, I didn't know Bob Little had that body, no wonder Amber went crazy bananas for him.
What I loved about that scene is the perversion of the cruxifiction: here we have a man that's been described as Satan incarnate by his creator and yet at this moment Fuller decides to reverse Hannibal's role from aggressor into victim. Will, of course, has now become the aggressor. The mirroring of the character's…
"She knows me and I know her… She cuts like stone."
If the final round of Hulu's Best in Show poll is Hannibal v. Game of Thrones, I hope people vote for Hannibal. Game of Thrones is highly rated and popular, so Hannibal winning the poll could bring in new viewers for the show. All that aside, I also think that this past year of Hannibal was an overall better show than…
Yeah, basically. Harris didn't have a recurring role in L&O, but he had a guest role back in the 90's, which it's the reason I had to go The Boondock's wiki page to find the connection. I think it's a bizarre association to make, I myself would have gone with "that guy from The Practice."
Also Winston's (aka Tyler Perry's) weird hatred of all of Ice Cube's works….including Friday.
"Game recognize game and you looking kind of unfamiliar right now."
Nvm, apparently it's Steve Harris who was in Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
Jesse L. Martin?
"I never thought I'd be with a man so loving and light-skinned."
My point being not that an alcoholic wouldn't do this, but that the Laurel is an alcoholic arc has been so mishandled and poorly developed that her decision at that moment didn't come off as believable due to the writing/performance.
My main issue with Cheap Thrills was that the violent escalation, while not inconsequential, never feels particularly surprising or truly shocking. As a matter of fact, you can more or less predict where this is going within the first 30 minutes of the movie. The characters are so exclusively divided into "rich…
I guess what I was trying to say it's that the two things are not mutually exclusive. One can care about one's family and conduct an affair at the same time. People have affairs for many different reasons (problems in their relationships, sexual fulfillment, etc) but none of those reasons necessarily imply that one…
Not only does having a mistress not prevent you from caring about your family, but at that moment Anton would say literally anything to not be taken back to Russia. So either way, it rang pretty true for me.
And we got to find out that Phillip doesn't believe in double wiping.
That scene in the car where the scientist is trying to bargain (to no avail) with Phillip to prevent his expatriation was heartbreaking. Matthew Rhys is so good in those moments when he has to say so much with a look. It was performed and written perfectly. I mean, Anton comparing Phillip to Eichmann was not subtle,…
I didn't read Elizabeth's reaction as uncomfortable. I was uncomfortable watching it, but Elizabeth seemed legitimately curious about Phillip's sexual life with Martha. Great scene either way.
