I really don’t understand what’s going on at Jez, as the quality of posts have gone downhill over the past year. Why so many posts about garbage, stereotypical-femme shit like the Kardashians, the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, and hypocritical men-centric hit pieces (a month ago or so there was some post about a

Issa Rae is so freaking talented, and she looks absolutely beautiful in that dress. Congrats to her, and her handsome husband ❤.

I truly wouldn’t be surprised if it was filled with FIJI water, trucked in by the bottle.

I understand swooning over his talent, but to objectify his body like this seems hypocritical to the overall message of this site. Not two days ago there was a blog about the female reporter being sexually harassed.

I really wish that I hadn’t read that Page Six/R Kelly link... after realizing that Sandusky and Cosby have no remorse and have learned nothing while in jail and living on tax payer dollars which should fund programs that would prevent child rape, I have no faith in the justice system. I'm legit behind corporal

I think Collins did a fabulous job of creating nuanced characters, and while it was a YA novel the characters were so well developed that it doesn’t feel like a typical YA novel. I truly felt empathy for Snow, even though he was not a “likeable” character.

Just a note, a prequel was released last year, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”, and it’s really freaking good and quite timely. And yeah, with the threat of covid it really seems weird to hold the Olympic Games.

I literally just entered a (grayed) comment moments ago stating this, and then read yours.

They’re definitely not the worst nail trend. I keep mine neat and natural, and only wear nail polish for something really fancy, and that comes off the next day.

“ I abandoned Adriene because I couldn’t execute the proper form in pigeon pose. I parted ways with Kayla because after months of working out six days a week, I hadn’t carved a six-pack out of my belly flab. It wasn’t so much that they were failing me; I was failing them, and that shame drove me to find someone new.”

What is there to do about this, though? Full disclosure, I’m a White-passing bi-racial (Korean) woman, who is in fear of my Korean mother being attacked. These crazy, murderous hillbillies (including 99% of my White father’s family) have guns and enough political and legal sway to attack the Capitol and get away with

Agreed; The writing has been half-assed all summer, with more pieces taking some high-horse and tactless stances that are confusing at best and ill-researched at worst.

*IMPERIALIST- oh that is embarrassing.

Yah, I’m not sure why there needs to be explicit fucking... I’m honestly really grateful for movies where women aren’t treated as fuck-toys for male pleasure. Leave it implied, let it be family fun and enjoy watching hot people kill aliens.

I think all old people, from every generation, all look the same because we all just stop caring after awhile.

My husband and I are fully vaxxed, but our 11 yr old isn’t eligible. I still mask and isolate because I don’t want to risk my kiddo dealing with long-haul covid.

Kinja hid your comment on Lifehacker (the body pressure post), and I just wanted to reach out and say thanks (and that you weren’t ignored)!

Other than one other couple, every single one of our friends has done this and multiple times. One of my husband’s female friends was remarried within 6 months of her divorce, to a guy she met after the divorce.
We don’t teach people how to stay married, and don’t provide mental health programs to teach people how to

That is really sweet, and I hope it all works out! It can look very sexy on the right guy.
I wonder how much of my reaction is from growing up in the late 80's/coming of age in the 90's, and all of the young celebs with long hair- Brendan Fraser, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, the guy from the tv version of Highlander

Oh the pandemic-induced long hair trend for men-
