The captions are fun, because they include things like (GREG IMITATING ROBOT NOISES).

I am very interested in the slow unravelling of Roman Roy that’s happening in these episodes. It’s clear that anything to do with his dad is still touching raw nerves, and I think his confrontation with Mattson is the most honest we’ve seen him all season. I’m not sure where this is leading him, but I’d say nowhere

Last season GoJo was the minnow/target and during the course of the season got slightly bigger than WRCo. enough to offer a takeover of most of it (with ATN spun off). He’s now obviously big/rich enough to just swallow up the whole thing while paying a premium. So his ego has just gotten bigger. Also, not sure he was

Significant blood loss with do that to you.

Except she said more money would give him the win, and he took her advice on the two women from Waystar to keep. He ultimately delivered on those things. Further she wasn’t actually drinking and she did not actually snort any coke. She was on fire and in control.

Agreed. I think Shiv handled herself well, and maybe Matsson was impressed with her, and maybe-maybe the blood story is real, but more than anything I think he’s just looking for a back channel he can dump the minute the deal is signed.

And she had Mattson cupped in her hands and best, she knew she was winning. Quite the tightrope walk and never wobbling.”

The Scooby Doo’s line was so good.

I felt like i was reacting/grieving in real time with the characters for a bit in the beginning. My first thought is Tom is playing a horrible joke to get Roman to go to that meeting. Just an incredible episode from everyone involved. Sarah Snook put up Wilt numbers

Knocked the wind out of me.  That long walk when Kendall went to find Shiv.

Real life is people making the same mistake over and over even if they’re trying to actively change. Incremental change is still change. And Jimmy’s actually in a much different place now than he was 6 episodes ago.

Man, Peak TV has really warped our critical sensibilities when we start kvetching about a lack of character growth seven episodes into a show’s first season.

That’s what I thought! And isn’t regression and repeating patterns despite knowing what’s best for us...human nature? Despite being therapists, I presume that would follow for all humans otherwise we would never know therapists who go to other therapists for their own mental well-being.

I’m enjoying the show and all

“Was he hot?”

“I didn’t willingly go, ‘Hey, Alan, let’s have some fun,’ because no one on the planet would say that to Alan,” Ransome said.

Can we talk about how TERRIBLE Bob Harper was on this episode?

I think his height is pulling a lot of weight. It doesn’t come across as much for viewers, and i suspect that’s the disconnect. IRL, tall dudes get points just for existing, but as a viewer height does not come across as much, and his clearly lame personality and somehow not attractive accent (how is this possible, he

I posted this upthread...I howled.
