Meanwhile, when I burgle and commit larceny, I have to go to jail like a schnook. It’s almost as if the American justice system isn’t as fair as my civics teachers suggested.

Toby Huss should be in entertainment jail for all the shows he’s stolen.
Why is calling a movie Plane so funny?
These days, you probably shouldn’t even joke about physical violence at an award show.
It does seem like these movies ought to be period pieces, at this point. “We’re hopelessly out of touch! No one will ever find . . . what? Oh, right, GPS works without a signal. Search and rescue will be here in a couple of hours. Hey, let’s sit together watch those saved episodes of Wednesday on your iPad while we…
It didn’t set up a sequel, but since it was the villain’s high tech behind the story action, it wouldn’t be difficult to craft a story line around another villain getting hold of the tech for equally nefarious ends. Hell, given how events in the first film twisted Moss’ character, it wouldn’t be hard to have her…
I think its more accurate to say that it’s not about Musk only.
The scene of them all arriving at the dock was actually a super great way to give us a perfect summary of the character just by showing their mask usage.
After the movie ended when I saw it in cinemas, I said to my friends, “Wow, so Johnson really hates rich people.” After how he’s depicted them in both Knives Out and now Glass Onion, I really look forward to what he’s going to give us for the 3rd movie.
To build on that, I absolutely loved that the reason Benoit had difficulties cracking the case was that he is bad with stupid stuff and couldn’t fathom that billionaire was actually that stupid.
Exactly the same here. What has made it more frustrating is that I do find it hilarious how there is a crowd online all defensive about how dare Johnson mock Musk in this matter, especially since Musk is actually brilliant, that I can’t laugh with my friends as they haven’t yet seen the film.
My favourite takes on this subject are “how could Rian Johnson have known Musk was a psycho fraud two whole years ago??”
Honestly my favorite part of the movie is that the so called genius billionare was in fact dumb as a sack of rocks.
It worked adapting Tolstoy into Japanese (and Shakespeare, as a matter of fact...twice). Why wouldn’t it work the other way?
I wouldn’t make that bet, even with your money.
Let’s be honest, JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek can probably do anything, and it’s going to be worth watching. I’m in.
Netflix also released a new season of Love Death and Robots today.
I really hope this lands big. Emmy Rossum is one of those actors who absolutely should be a star, but just hasn’t quite landed that project that matches her skills. Phantom of the Opera *should* have made her, but it was badly done, and the Phantom miscast. Shameless was career best work for her, but it was hampered…
Jen carrying that guy around her apartment is everything I’ve ever needed.
