Thought I would do a multi layer tie-in with this post. I used my orange 2002 as a salute to Carter Kramer (@enthusiastgarage instagram) as he preps his 2002 for his trip from NY to Monterey.
Did it ever measure up to the hype as the successor to the 507? Let the debate continue....
I’ve tired of other “super cars” over the course of time, but always come back to the 1
Today is also, as I learned from jobjoris, is wankelwednesday. I present the Mazda RX500 from Matchbox
One of my all-time favorites. Back in the 80’s, when everyone was drooling over Countachs and Ferrari’s (as was I) I really fell for this gal. Not too many knew about it back then, which made me love her
Thought Iwould try something new. This should should be fun! Let’s see what you got!
65 Ford Ranchero
Volkswagen Concept W12 by Matchbox
This is my belly tank racer that was a gift awhile back. I love the tampos on this one. Another fun read is about these typenof cars that ran at Bonneville, albeit in more serious race livery.
My 67 Dodge Charger. Although my collection leans heavily towards European, I knew as soon as I saw this one that I had to have it! Ghost flames and BF Goodrich tires too!! The last pic was taken out in the sun
Another vintage racer. This time a Cunningham C-4R. It won 1953 Sebring 12 Hours. No room here to do the stories justice, so do yourself a favor and google Briggs Cunningham. Fascinating stuff, especially “Le Monstre”
First time here. Looking forward to Car Week and having others help me up my game with cars and photos. Ferrari P4 by Hotwheels
My first time posting here. The car week posts are for one car, but what if it’s 2 of the same? Lol! Ferrari P4
