It's not cheap in New York. I buy store brand seltzer because it's like a third of the price (and I drink gallons of it).

1000%

Why would it be sweet? It's sparking water, there's no sweetener.

What's your favorite flavor? I like plenty of the seasonal ones but as far as the regular ones, Pomegranate Sangria, Cranberry Clementine and Blueberry Lemonade are phenomenal.

It's seltzer, jagweeds. It's been around for a long fucking time, and La Croix's version isn't any different than much cheaper brands.

Can someone explain this "looking up words" and "not knowing how to spell things" dealie? I've been trying to understand it for four decades now and I'm still lost.

I think that battleax guy was much more the antagonist than I was.

Doubt that. It's probably more that a frankly kinda-clichéd conceit like "I am the highway" dovetails well with some of Ed's less-imaginative metaphors.

Fuck you.

Freaks and Lakini's Juice were two of the singles and they're heavy weird, but there's also Unsheathed (off-kilter and synth-sprinkled weird), Merica (startlingly catchy and unpretentious weird), Heropsychodreamer (kinetic and bass-driven and sorta weird), and then the 3 or 4 songs that are the ones you're probably

Gin Blossoms.

Yeah, it felt really good.

That's oxymoronic to me.

Admitting that I want to die makes me a loser? I mean, I guess.

If the Pixies are art, I'll take commerce.

They moved there to get signed.

I like the sound, but that band never moved me emotionally one bit. TTWS did, though. And certainly others in that vague genre, like the Lemonheads, Del Amitri, Crowded House etc.

They ripped off the entire style of a decent band, Toad the Wet Sprocket.

He's really not.

Yet not.
