Debbie

I've been trying to understand the popular narrative that says Jennifer Aniston is attractive, much less 'People Magazine's Most Beautiful People in the World' material, for over two decades now. Also she's super annoying.

There are several embarrassing typos in the Stray Observations section at the end. Just an FYI.

"We" is not the band in the song. It's 'we musicians from San Francisco'…and they're not really saying they created it, they're saying they built it up on rock music.

I can't even get started on people who dismiss "the 80s" music as this monolith of cheesy shallowness when there's arguably as much great music from the 1980s as any decade ever.

The 'deeper cuts' are so good though—One Tree Hill, Exit, Running to Stand Still, Red Hill Mining Town, Mothers of the Disappeared, In God's Country…

Oh, I'm quite bitter.

I looked, it's actually 10. Really an album's worth, like I'd thought.

No, I'm incredibly bitter.

Women are MUCH more shallow than men, yet we're brought up to think that they're much less so, and they advance that narrative even as they know it's bullshit.

Aren't there like 8 or 9 originals?

I can't stand the version of ISHFWILF.

I kind of can, actually lol…but I just never felt it. All I Want Is You, that's where I feel it. Or Stay.

And God Part II, and Silver and Gold, and Van Diemen's Land…

Well, there were way too many of them for an EP…a pair of EP's, maybe, a few months apart?

God, she's pretty.

Girls aren't shallow at all, though.

"jibe." And I can't find writing/editing work.

Yeah, her voice is less irritating here—hers and Rory's in particular sound more like the actors themselves—but it was still distracting because the show was what the show was.

Does anyone else agree with me on any of this?:
