@sandip408: Took me a minute, but I got ya.

@lonniebear: I've got a bump on the back of my head that puts the lie to your ceiling fan claim. Next time I change that recessed light bulb, I'm making damn sure the fan nearby is OFF!!!

@headc4se: Yeah, I know, but it still sucks that they didn't have any problem saying "up to" without saying "most likely". The tech's statement that the acceptable range on "up to 5Mbps" bottomed out at .75 was incredible considering that overlapped with a lower-priced/lower max speed option.

@ddhboy: My DSL provider had similar "service". I paid for "up to 5mbps" and got 1 - 1.25 on a good day. They saw this as acceptable, yet when I proposed only paying 20% of the bill they got all uptight about it. Dumped them for TimeWarner and now I get what I pay for.

@Cavutto: I poked around in the blogs this morning asking that same question and discovered that page sync is "coming soon". Be on the lookout for a Nook firmware update I guess.

@plazmatyk: The judges resented losing their eyebrows.

@shooga: Dump it all over the front steps on Halloween. That should cut down on all the annoying doorbell-ringing.

@Curves: How YOU doin'?

@Turkieshooter: A few days lost in an investigation that takes months or years is not significant. If you want quick answers, sure - go to the cloud. That's good enough for the evening news. For the real info and full investigation use the original source data. Since these things often land in court as people try

@Turkieshooter: Do it the other way 'round for the data-integrity reasons pointed out by nigma.ed above. Not that I believe conspiracy plays a part, but more of an evidentiary chain-of-custody thing. As long as the blackbox is recoverable it should be primary.

@DJ Bushido: I think the difference is that you describe claims against a company, where this site encourages claims against individuals.

@CubemonkeyNYC: Or the average thief's tech awareness. Criminals are rarely the class valedictorians.

@C3PA: Also meant in fun, this joke is as old as MEL aircraft themselves. And the asymmetrical loss of thrust and counter-torque you reference is exactly where the old saw comes from.

@C3PA: When a twin engine plane loses one engine, the other will take you straight to the scene of the crash.

@junyo: I can see where he's coming from. If I'm out with my kids and someone starts snapping shots or filming us, I'm going to be uncomfortable. There is no legitimate reason for strangers to take images of my kids.

@Alchemistmerlin: Justice is, and always has been, for the wealthy. Sad but true.

@Tony Kaye: I don't want to see the doughnuts or bathroom breaks.

@Daniel Lluberes: That's my retirement plan, also. Jail at that age can't be any worse than any nursing home my kids will choose for me.

@michael: AARRRGGGHHHH!!! *runs from building screaming and pulling hanks of hair from head in frustration*

I wonder if the service agreement covers this sort of thing.
