Well I guess it was for you. That’s OK. I thought the value proposition was spot on. I also liked the nav system - so what do I know.

I feel like we must have looked at different cars - the hatch definitely won me over. The looks, granted, aren’t for everyone. But I actually found that it was the most practical of the hatchbacks I considered - lots of room in the rear, and pretty spacious rear seats. I also liked the option packages, because it was

It looks kinda like the generic Grand Theft Auto verison of itself, which I think is nice. I’m at the point where I really like any car design that isn’t in your face aggressive on a car that has no business being so (looking at you, Corolla and Camry).

I like it. In a world where every car manufacture is trying to be polarizing, its nice that Honda decided to dial back for the Civic this time around.

Good!

It looks about 500% less terrible than the previous one.

Is the low belt-line coming back in style? It’s past due. Especially for SUVs, Vans, and trucks. Now lets see if we can get rid of those ridiculous high hoods on all the new trucks. I like to see forward.

Why can’t we have cars like this? I’d buy this all damn day.

I like the Utility and the rear roof AC! Sadly this car is far too practical for the USA.

Looked up this specific clip remembering that he’d painted the tunnel with just a few sloppy, thrown-on brush strokes. But no, he did a properly good job here. Huh.

Yea, what do you mean ‘weird’?

Your non-quilted “high glare” example is painted flat white. It will produce less glare than quilted stainless.

This seems like an odd answer to me. Sure stainless steel does not take paint well but if you just want to make it non reflecting then brushed satin finish is the way to go.

I’m in love with this. If only it was $20k cheaper and available in the US. Let’s be real, a car that can only (easily) go 100mi isn’t worth almost $50k.

I’m kind of worried about Raph. All of his articles these days are so negative, it’s like he’s become incredibly unhappy. I used to enjoy them, especially his videos because he seemed to radiate this positivity, but the opposite comes through in his articles now and it’s really off-putting.
