I know this is a moto site, and I’m prepared to get slammed for going pedal-power, but this is exactly what you do on a bicycle when road riding and approaching an intersection.

40% heavier than carbon fiber, for similar properties, means that it isn’t currently competitive with aluminum, which is easier to work with, and easier to recycle.

Get that 40% down to 1-3% AND a way to deal with the resin in the composite (which is what makes it difficult to recycle), and you might be on to something.

A few questions for you from a regular Odyssey driver.

Do they add all-wheel drive with the heavier chassis and new rear-end? (or was the AWD Sienna an option for your previous conversion?)

I think they missed an opportunity to use a scale worm (google it, I dare you) as a model for the mouth parts. 

My point was that while the time period of reduction is relatively short, so is their time on a feedlot. Prior to the feedlot, they are eating in a way that produces less emissions than while on the feedlot. Beef cattle spend less then half of their life on a feedlot, generally.

I had the same car in high school.
Surprisingly slow off the line (this car weighs about 3900 lbs), but a high top end.

Can confirm it did turn heads, though.  For better or worse.

Depending on your part of the country, you way overpaid for that $220 bike.
I monitor several regional bike trading groups, mostly on Facebook, and you could have easily gotten a steel bike of that era for $50, with some patience.
Or, a very modern road, hybrid, or mountain bike that you wouldn’t have had to fight…

The company is saying this car will start around 22,000 Euros/$24,000.
A Honda Fit starts at $16,000.
