You should try having it put every comment on an article into your notifications! It’s a little strange for me too.

Also forgetting to establish them, and any emotional stakes, in the movie they did make

Ugh. I’m not a fan. I hate the top page just being a list of misc, unorganized stories like other kinja sites. The last iteration of the avclub was so orderly...

Green glove guy from “Twin Peaks” is sorely missing from this list.

Gilly! She’s raising her baby, reading old books, and figuring out secret branches of the Targarayean family true. Podrick just keeps on practicing fighting with Brienne and not getting any better

Hello?! HELLO!?!

Would it be wrong to say much of the supporting cast of Twin Peaks? So many of them have had standout moments with only tiny bits of screen time.

I think a lot of WB’s motivation for the direction of the DCEU had to do with sales figures for comics. They ignored the most critically acclaimed and beloved stories and instead zeroed in on the best selling stuff. Like The Dark Knight Returns (well liked but definitely NOT what the foundation for Batman should be)

On the other hand, maybe this is exactly how to run a cinematic universe? People have complained about “Marvel fatigue”, what if the answer is movies starring the characters that don’t have to be interconnected? Sure, Batman and Superman can still show up in the same movie every once and a while, but with this

I know they didn’t want to be accused of plagiarizing Marvel’s template, but if they had, would anyone have cared at this point?

Kirkman has said she wasn’t talking about Louis, she was talking about Stanhope I believe. And she didn’t say anything about him jerking off in front of her, the two people that said that are anonymous. I’m not sure what more CK can say other than what he said in the Vulture interview.
