You know what? The engine and trans were fine. Like spot on. But after being the in the Riverside sun for those 5 years at UCR, the leather just started to go. I tried to condition it as much as I could because I knew that sun would just beat on it. But to no avail.

Back in 2008, I had just finished my freshman year of college and I was super stoked to come back home and see my gf. We met in HS and she was a year younger. Also of note, I was driving a 1992 Lexus LS400. It was a tank. It never did anything crazy to me and it was very faithful. I loved that car.

Oh yeah, Rain or Shine. Besides that drive up the 101 is badass regardless of the weather. Now that I think about it, last time I hit up Pismo was back in 2014 to hit up the dunes with some rental quads haha. Damn, this would have been a great opportunity to go back. I will be SO ready for this next year.
