I’m not against the due process for large infrastructure projects. It just seems odd that it was readily approved by a Californian government, which tends to be pro-environment, but found to be damaging by a group of local residents.

Trains won’t work well for most of LA as the vast majority is just one big suburb. You need density along the entire transportation corridor to make trains effective otherwise you just move traffic around as people still have to drive through several miles of suburbs to get to the train stations.
They even got the Bears to be good like they were in the ‘80s!
Its amazing that Carol cuts Daryl’s hair out of his eyes ,for the 1st time... ever !! and the hair is back in them in the very next scene .
Alex. You lose one hour *once* Just once. And everyone born after spring 2019 will NEVER lose it again. And fuck, it won’t be dark when you go home after 5 pm there come the deepest middle of winter. Isn’t that worth one last hour of your life? To not have that flip-flop is worth it, in spades.
Aubrey Plaza as Ymir, that's all I ask
I think as a society, we need to rethink our phone preferences. We were so used to being able to get a free high-end or extremely discounted flagship phones for signing a contract for so long, we became addicted.
The variety of people who have been craving a smaller phone are not people who want to constantly own a small phone AND a large phone.
“But drawing linkages between our weather, our climate, and our politics is quite a different thing than blaming victims of a tragedy for their own suffering.”
If you’ve ever watched a movie or TV show about Wall Street, you’ve probably seen the traders, ties hanging loosely…
Yeah, totally forced.
Meanwhile, inside the patrol car...
Yes. Yes I am prepared to pay that extra.
“Don’t work overtime unless you’re paid for it, y’all. Protect your health. Companies don’t care about you.”Everyone should get this tattooed on their chest, or arm, or someplace else easily visible so they see it every morning when they get up and look at themselves in the mirror.
If I can’t do something commonly needed while driving without taking my eyes off the wheel for more than half a second, I just can’t buy the car. On my car I can switch the lights on and off, change the heater settings, change the wiper settings, switch driving modes and navigate the radio all by feeling for the…
Agreed. I love the overall design of Tesla, and what they aspire to be, but this would be maddening. I have a hard enough time interacting with my phone on the road to the point that I avoid doing so. Without some sort of haptic response, this would seem to be a distraction.
I change the vents when I get in and so does my wife. We also change them depending on how hot the weather is, to keep the kids cool enough, or not if the sun’s down. It’s not like we’re constantly fiddling with them, but we frequently alter them such that driver profiles and touchscreen control would be a significant…
Yup. Touchscreens are awesome for anyone not driving and anything unrelated driving
Yes, anyone could potentially be distracted by a squirrel or their phone or anything else. That’s not an excuse for this intentionally shitty design that guarantees that people will be distracted, and often.
These horrible and counterintuitive design decisions affect us all. I don’t want to get hit by some Model 3 driver because he’s staring at this atrocious touchscreen for minutes at a time, trying to change the radio station or adjust the A/C vents. This fucking mess seems specifically designed to cause the maximum…
