As NegativeZero states... it’s that model that allows them so much money. They know we, (as a community), will pay a premium because we’ve shown we will. So they just need to find that “sweet spot” and they’re set.

I think every new show now out of Aniplex gets those large Bluray sets that cost like $150 or so?

You just reminded me of the various ways to generate revenue too. It’s why merch/figures etc are always generally so expensive. They know people will pay it so they get away with it.

One aspect I am glad ISN’T copied in the West is when a show is released to BluRay, (let’s assume a 12 episode series), you’ll have 6

Technology just made it easier to scalp. There’s sadly always been a market for it and always will be.

While I agree in most cases you can just “wait” or find a way to not buy from a scalper sometimes that isn’t possible.

For me personally, if there is an item I want but it’s only sold in a single market, (I am

I know he’s most famous for all the Wing Commander games, but I gotta say, I just adored Freelancer back in the day.

I wish Star Citizen was out and a complete game as I was interested in it for a long time. Not so much anymore.

I’ll forever keep hope we’ll see another Chromehounds... maybe... before hell freezes over...

*UGH* You just reminded me we’ll never see another Chromehounds... I’m sad now...

*oops* Sorry wrong reply.

Ok, while I can understand crypto in general, as well as how blockchains work and even I’d argue a passing knowledge of NFTs. This is something I have never seen explained.

How can something created by digital “mining” be finite? Isn’t the whole concept of something being intangible potentially being inherently infinite

Something I’ll never understand, (or maybe I do but I want to believe companies give at least an ounce of care that their customers get their products to enjoy and not just scalpers), is why for big ticket items or ones you KNOW will have massive demand; why they do not implement a lottery system.

Announce for the next

Came here to post this.

In their defense, the last couple years the Onion has been so on point it’s hard to tell if it’s actually blunt assertions of real life or satire at this point.

LoL

Worst of all, their shop is not friendly to anyone’s wallet. If you dish out $100.00 USD to a game can’t even guarantee yourself a 5-star character .... that is insane to me. Utterly insane. But that’s me.”

FGO player here... you’re guaranteed a 5 star? I thought the only guarantee to get a 5 star was to keep

I wonder how many of those make their living off of the game. You know the channels that spend inordinate amounts of time opening loot boxes or doing other microtransactions with those stupid shocked expressions of their faces as thumbnails. So to them, the cash cow is great because it gets them the clicks.

Have enough

Ah! A fellow player who has walked into hell! I salute you sir!

Sorry about the pulls on summer events, I hope it improves and hope at least if your summer pulls are bad the rest of the year is kind.

Best of luck with Space Ishtar and the other SSRs this year!

Now playing

I think they meant “Bishop to Knight Four”.

I assumed it was a reference to this classic episode of Futurama:

I think it was Why Was I Banned .com or something close to that. Man that was a terrific site.

Also, few recall unless you lived through it, but UNO back on the 360 (especially when they added camera functionality), was easily the most toxic, horrible place to be. It felt like the complete Wild West when joining a
