I’m with you but still baffled at how they couldn’t convince ($$) Eccleston to just film the regeneration scene as a cameo appearance. We just got a few frames of some eyes that are Eccleston-ish, and that’s sad, he could at least let them use his image to be FX’ed into it, I think it could have been nice.

The “Decoy” character that was killed in the opening scene from Attack of the Clones (During ship explosion that was supposed to kill Amidala) was named Cordé, KN’s character was named Sabé and her whereabouts and status are simple unknown after Phantom Menace. Original theory says “granddaughter” anyways.

Read the theory again “Rey may actually be the granddaughter of Knightley’s”, the age math kind of works.

Knowing Gillermo Del Toro’s work, you can easily see The Gobling King is of those few designs that Peter Jackson preserved from GDT’s preproduction work.

Charlie Jane is a very talented writer but Cool_Breeze’s ‘review’ was fantastic this time. Keep bring them on !

Agree, lots of Sci-Fi books from past bundles pending to read. And is easier for me to resist this one since I already have American Gods, both in book form and electronic (got the 10th anniversary edition when it was like $6).. wait, Lois McMaster Bujold’s “Curse of Chalion”? I might pay something for it. Damm it!

This is the original design for wall-e, done in LEGO during pre-production before the final rendered version.

Again... Lego, please just take my money. I’ve wanted this for so long, I mean, I build my version but it was never as good —not enough yellow pieces— as this or as some other versions around there (look for ¨lego wally¨ tags in Flickr). This one looks pretty neat.

I formed the theory that she was going to become Captain Marvel when I saw her last scene on WS (joining the CIA). But Sharon Carter sounds much more plausible.

Even brand new Video Cards, like NVIDIA GTX 9xx line, are backwards compatible with PCI express 2.0 x16 ports. I got a GTX 970 last X-mas and used it for 3 months on my ancient Asus P5E-SLI Motherboard+Intel Core2 Duo 8400E until I was able to afford a full upgrade to a new LGA1150 Mobo+Core i7 4790 CPU. I knew I

I'd set for 6 so-so monster of the week episodes. It's new X-files episodes, old Mulder, add some dancing and I'm sold.

Leaving Earth now, robots are humourless.

Pretty much my thoughts, I'm old enough to have sited on ROTJ premiere (as 7 yo), and will never forget the 3 blocks line to see Batman on 1989's Bat Craze. The first Dr. Who episode I saw was a rerun of The Ark in Space (4th doctor). I just wish I was a kid in england watching the first dalek episode live and have

Can you believe 'Dark City' is one of my favorite movies and this is the first time I learn about its opening voice over? I arrived late to the theater where I saw it (fortunately, I now understand), and at home I have always watched the 2008 director's cut I own that doesn't have the voice over. It just starts with

I've never seen that Scot Pilgrim trailer, I missed the theatrical release, read the whole comic in a weekend and bought the BR disk as soon as it became available. Now I can't wait for this office day to be over so I can get home and see it again.

"Leaving earth finally, robots are humorless"

Alternate ending to "Have spacesuit, will travel" on itself a 4 word minifiction.
