I truly am excited for this wedding. Her character on Suits is me in real life. Same name, same job, everything. I’m waiting to see how I can score some royal courtship myself. I need to know what she did, and how she did it.

And I don’t know about Megan, but I’m like 95% sure Harry wants kids.

My grandparents met in WWII when they were both in the Navy and posted overseas. They went on 2 long walks (maybe that is a euphemism but I don’t want to go there) and got enganged. They were happily married over 50 years...so you never know.

Eighteen months, and they said they managed to spend the first six months without the press finding out. And he said in their interview that their third date was camping for like five days in Botswana, where it was just the two of them. That is a LOT of get-to-know-you time, especially roughing it like that. Evidently

They’re also the publication that gave us #MikeBrownWasNoAngel before he was even buried.

White supremacists are normal ass white people and it’s been that way in America since 1776. We will continue to be in trouble till we understand that.”

As much as the NYT is respected for their journalism, they STILL get a heavy side eye from me. I mean, they’re the same folks that suggested cooking rice in the oven. They’re the same folks that added peas to guacamole. I mean, did y’all forget when they covered “underground” rap? I mean, the NYT is your white ally

I think when you’re in your 30s and have dated a million people it gets easier to make that sort of decision. Plus for all we know they started dating earlier than that but not publicly.

A Christmas Prince! haha yes I watched that one and there were a few hallmark ones; A Prince for Christmas, a Princess for Christmas, a Royal Christmas - they’re so bad but so good

I think it depends on a lot of factors. I mean, if they were both in their early 20's and she was a regular commoner it might feel rushed. But, they are both in their early to mid-30's and she is an actress so is used to the spotlight and scrutiny (even if it is to a lesser degree than it will be in the royal family).

I can’t wait for all the black people that will be attendance. Serena Williams! The Obamas! And more!

Plug in your phone! You’re making me very nervous!

One of my 10th graders walked into my room this morning, beaming. “We’re gonna have a Black princess, y’all!”

Strangely I feel a little emotional about this. My son was born a few months before Diana died and I remember being up with him and watching the news coverage all night. I guess I still see Harry as that little boy following his mother’s coffin. William looked very dignified and in control of himself, but poor Harry

THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABIES!!

Congrats to my second favorite royal, next to preternaturally grumpy Prince George.

“See, I TOLD YOU there could be a princess Meghan!” - the moms of all of us who ended up with an 80s fad name.

Some people don’t. The DM had some stupid headline snarking about the queen being delighted about welcoming a “divorced American actress” to the BRF. You can just tell they tried to fit in the Catholic, feminist, over 35 and black part too but run out of space. The commenters are certainly bringing those bits up

GOOD. As I said on another post. This is lovely and nice and we all NEED THIS.
