My grandparents met in WWII when they were both in the Navy and posted overseas. They went on 2 long walks (maybe that is a euphemism but I don’t want to go there) and got enganged. They were happily married over 50 years...so you never know.

I think when you’re in your 30s and have dated a million people it gets easier to make that sort of decision. Plus for all we know they started dating earlier than that but not publicly.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. I mean, if they were both in their early 20's and she was a regular commoner it might feel rushed. But, they are both in their early to mid-30's and she is an actress so is used to the spotlight and scrutiny (even if it is to a lesser degree than it will be in the royal family).
