MTM was an icon. Mary Tyler Moore the show has always been incredibly important. As a child I used to watch it with my mom who always reminded me of MTM. When I had a major move after a bad breakup, watching episodes on Hulu was like a warm cup of tea. Rest In Peace talented, lovely lady.

I watched last night and loved it. I also love it how BET has it in several episodes as an event like it’s Roots. Having been at embassies with both it’s just a different ball game. One example is that at those posts events, which is a hugely important part of the job a career ambassador cannot come out of pocket for at the level asked.
