I’ll see myself out again.

shut up chud.

Ok as someone who’s always thought of Edelman as a douche, that’s actually kinda clever. So much so that I am 100% convinced that it was someone else’s idea.

at least it is also on your phone. That portability should help.

That would take actual work, and unfortunately Valve’s vigor as a developer at this point is probably best personified by Gabe’s swollen gut.

It was about the ridiculousness of white supremacy, which IS real. The Bigsby character was just the conduit to show that

I still find that sketch funny as hell.

I get that people digest content differently based on a million different factors. I get that victims and those close to them (rightly) can’t tolerate jokes about this shit, but... I can’t be the only person who remembers how critical that skit was of Kelly.

^THIS^ exactly! The commercial made me cry... and then I made the mistake of peeking into the comments section. Sigh.

I am a man. To have a hard and fast definition of what it means to be a man is wrong, same with what it means to be a woman. Toxic masculinity itself exists entirely because of people defining either. With the definitions comes moral judgement. If I am man, and perform your definition of man badly, I must be bad.

I’ve been giggling at the people declaring they are boycotting Procter and Gamble. Yeah mate, good luck with that.

I’m upset because it hit me in the feels at work and I teared up. How can I be a demeaned drone if I have feeeeels!
(I love this ad and can’t wait for further discussions post Footbaw)

This ad is pretty simple, kind, and straightforward in asking men to be good people. If you’ve got an issue with that, you’re part of the problem and I’m not interested in discussing literally anything ever with you after the period at the end of this sentence.

I’m probably going to spend the few extra bucks and get the name brand just to support the message. There are other reasons to be wary of P&G products but this ad isn’t one. (mostly the problems I have are the questionable use of labor and raw materials from exploited nations)

Bit like how we now have an entire cult of police worship since some black people had the audacity to ask cops to stop killing them.

What is a “good man?” Who assumes there are no “good men” out there? Not any of these commenters. Not the ad. I don’t disagree with your assertion that toxic masculinity shames men into suppressing their emotions which can contribute to more toxic masculinity. Or that toxic masculinity is enforced by both men and

Swing and a miss!

Dude there are a whole bunch of good men in the ad itself. It’s served up in very simple and explicit images: they’re right there, doing good things!

Also - it explicitly addresses the issue of the inculturation you’re talking about, and asks us to (a) recognize and (b) rescue ourselves from it. Further, in multiple

I don’t think losing the neckbeards will cost them much.

And given that Stacey Dash has zero political knowledge/experience and is only a commentator because old Republican men like looking at boobs, that is truly a sick burn.
