It was in Smite before HoTS and afaik this idea is not exclusive to the MoBA genre. Games take ideas from each other all the time. It’s part of how WoW has been around so long, new games come out with new ideas, they then adapt those ideas to their own game.

You get graded at the end of the game, earn some points towards the next level and get an emote. There is no need to do it like in HOTS where leveling determines if…
