Fuck this movie.

"And for everyone who’s been wondering why Jimmy hasn’t just paid Manny what he owes, “Georgia Peaches” underlined what I had thought was fairly obvious: he doesn’t have the funds."

Nah

Saw this last week. It is fantastic. I'm sorry, but when we have THE DISSOLVE (fuck it, I'm saying it) why does AV Club (which clearly has thrown in with television (which there is nothing wrong with, but things here used to be more balanced between different media)) even BOTHER with film reviews anymore? I'm sorry

"1993 Week"??!

I really hope Kanye gets some pills or…something…because he is so increasingly unhinged. His INsecurity is really disconcerting and off-puting since no confident person has to boast about themselves/their accomplishments/their fiancee/their baby so much. Y'know, any man who yells "I AM KING" is no king at all, and all

I just wanna give Kanye one good punch to the jaw. Maybe with my brass knux…maybe not…haven't decided yet.

This was a pretty mediocre episode. I am relieved to know Weiss and Benioff wrote it—wasn't paying attention during opening credits—but I am still not loving this season. It opened with a great one-two punch, but starting with Episode 3 the quality started to decline. Starting to think it might be time for the Gang to

Ugh. NO.

I will make the one and only relevant comment here, since I saw the movie and don't have some stupid joke to make: the movie is very good. Burdge is excellent. The direction is excellent. The brief runtime really helps and the fact that it ends before the consequences feels refreshing since it doesn't get into a lot

AMEN. I was disgusted that after Aimee got hurt, the movie glossed over her injury and recovery and skipped to how bad Sutter felt about it, as if HIS GUILT over an accident HE CAUSED was the most serious, traumatic thing that came out of that night. I hope that after the cut to black she told him to FUCK OFF AND DIE.

This essay is lame. You could say basically the same things about THE SOPRANOS in the lead up to its final 9—we know something bad will happen but we dont know what but it doesnt matter because it was so good leading up to the end game. This is not exactly searing insight.

Amen. But I think you need at least two seasons per book. Season 1 could end with PIGS when me and Kemper got screwed by Jack the K. Season 2 could end with the assassinations

I so hope Franco's spreading himself too thin leads to the collapse of his AMERICAN TABLOID adaptation and then down the line the BLOOD THE ROVER adaptation ALSO collapses so that we can get the HBO series of the entire trilogy. TABLOD could probably be a good movie but not in Francos hands and I REALLY do not want

UPSTREAM COLOR is really lousy.

I think UPSTREAM COLOR is a totally overrated and boring mess that reaches for and falls far short of wonder. I think it mistakes vagueness for ambiguity, and all the sensory wonder of the visuals (it was shot rather blandly) and the sound design (which was quite good) cannot make up for the fact that as a story it is

I REALLY REALLY WOULD LIKE MICHAEL B. JORDAN ( WHO IS VERY TALENTED ) TO ACTUALLY *SURVIVE* JUST ONE THING HE WAS IN. SO FAR HE IS LIKE SEAN BEAN BECAUSE HE ALWAYS IS DYING IN EVERY SINGLE THING HE APPEARS IN.

This show is really awful. It's gross and creepily retrograde attitude towards homosexuality and the transgendered really made me uncomfortable. It's like a 1950s depiction of what 'swishy types' are like. So gross.

Nice writeup you guys. Is there any chance that we'll get newbies/experts reviews for this, like with GAME OF THRONES? I'm expecting some more significant deviations from the source material here—-and my memory of it, four years after reading it, is somewhat foggy—but it might be nice.

DIE HARD 2 is pretty awful. Shame on you, AV Club.
