Sexual orientation is just one aspect of sexuality. He could have questioned his sexuality (am I a sexual being? how am I sexual in this body? etc) without necessarily questioning his sexual orientation.

It’s a politician’s job to represent her constituents. So it’s not complaining to call out a politician for not doing their job or for supporting policies that go against the interests of their constituents. In fact, keeping politicians accountable is exactly what every citizen should be doing.
