On one hand, the ps5 comes potentially in less than a year.

A story about animated video game porn and no mention of Overwatch?  Seems like a missed opportunity.

Mini Metro is one of my favorite small games. I’ll often play it while waiting on other games to finish crafting, or between rounds. It is worth the price, so much so that I bought it twice.

Not gonna lie, I totally read video games and pornography. I guess that tells you something about me. :p

We’ll finally have the money AND the time to play all the games we want

With OXO Good Grips controllers for our arthritic hands

My grandmother is a huge nerd. She’s 77 now, but if you walked into her house without her there, you would think someone 40 years younger lived there. My mom was anti-prettymuchanythingpopcultureincludingvideogames while I was growing up. I never owned anything until the PS2 launched, which my dad bought without

2 of my main hobbies are video games and photography. I wonder if I’ll still be doing these things when I’m 70 or 80. I wonder if I’ll still be around when I’m that old...

In a few decades, we will have geriatric guilds in MMOs everywhere, and we’re gonna have so much fun! We’ll show these young people what it means to be hardcore!

This is gonna be all of us in a few decades

Should have just opened a bunch of pachiko dens.

On one hand, I feel like this is the sort of glitch that should get patched out very quickly.

Hey man whatever works for them and their team. The unfortunate truth about this is that, since I’m waiting for a possible Steam release (or let’s be real a Game Pass addition at this rate): by the time it releases on my digital platform of choice it might either be discounted or I just may have no interest anymore.

Tencent owns 48% of Epic Games, so they pretty much have a Chinese war chest that rivals a lot of companies including Steam. They can weather any storm if they wanted to.

Just for a sense of scale, in 2018, Epic was on average making, in profit (not just revenue) 8 million dollars a day. (Their 2018 profit was reportedly about 3 billion dollars.)

Also this is Valve, we all know they can’t count past 2...

Thats pretty much it. In addition, if the sales never hit $10.5 million, they don’t get any money back.

Theres zero issues because the don’t theoretically lose the $10.5 million paid to Remedy?

The 9.49 million euro number has been reported as a deal for Control’s exclusivity, but that payment is not merely a cash sum paid in exchange for the rights to sell the game. It is an advance on future sales revenue.
