I was thinking with a little more personal care and confidence, he could have been Oscar Isaac.
6th season? It feels like that show has been on for 20 years.
I had more of an issue with this interview. His Twitter rant was emotionally fueled but the douchiness on display here was premeditated.
I disagree. It's literally childish - kids say shit like that to each other on the internet all the time. He acted like a child and it was shameful and embarrassing, but as someone prone to anger, I understand it far more than the other side.
Yeah, that's a good point. When someone says things as hateful as a gendered slur or encouraging people to kill themselves, I'm less inclined to see them as a sexist or hateful individual so much as angry person grasping for the most damaging thing they can think of. Some people argue that it's stressful times that…
He acted childishly, but if there has to be a villain, for me it's the jackasses that tried to derail his weight loss posts and belittle his progress.
He used "thinspiration" as a hashtag when talking about his weight loss and got attacked because it's associated with pro-ana/Mia sites. He then reacted badly to being attacked and told his attacker(s) to slice their wrists.
What did you win ribbons for?
Weird, I mentioned the only troll I know by name and my post is marked "pending". Maybe that explains why people never say his name instead of the over dramatic Voldemort impression I was getting.
I only know that Fatman guy that I don't think I've ever actually seen but keep getting told about. That is pretty fucked up.
Yeah, but to a lesser extent. I didn't visit it as much but it never seemed as big of a circle jerk as AVCAD. I did find the exclusivity and secrecy surrounding it off putting though.
Well if you insist….
Well I don't have anything against many individual posters, it's more a collective issue.
Oh, Tolerability Index?
I read the first book of The Expanse but haven't watched the show yet. The enjoyment for me primarily came from the almost mundane details of life post Earth. The characters are thin and mostly awful, though I did like Miller because I'm OK with that particular generic archetype.
I always thought they were pretty funny. Lines like If you are expecting consolation / I will become outrageous / If you expect me to be outrageous / I will be extra outrageous are hilarious.
I'm glad she didn't choose Duckie (though I would have preferred she picked no one - Blaine was so boring), but I don't think he's a creep. He gets heartbroken and he's angry and hurt for a short time then gets over it. That seems reasonable to me.
Is that the Philip Marlowe movie that's like a proto Lebowski? I remember loving that.
What is TIF?
