Ah,sorry to hear that. I own the game on everything,except DS because I never owned one. I assume they will patch the game at some point to fix all the minor issues people are having.

They don’t exist on the SNES version. I got double star stats on the SNES version for all character. No reason for me to play that version.

It’s not the bosses that are hard in souls games,it’s the wonky ontol scheme. It’s always a two on one fight in souls,you vs the controls and boss.

As someone that loves the multi-player aspect and prefers it,I don’t agree with you. The game isn’t really slow or clunky. I’m not sure what you are on about really. Story progression is fast,making weapons and armor is fast and easy. What problems are you having?

Solo is fine but definitely not the best way to play. Though I admit,I am OG Monster Hunter fan. Been playing since Ps2 Monster Hunter 1-PSP/Vita. That said,randos can make the game frustrating. I like the group experience, and with friends the game really shines.

Don’t worry,it’s still the same great game you remember. That,plus the PS1 animated cut-scenes, and Nintendo DS extra dungeons.

What about the anime cut-scenes and new dungeons?

I played it on SNES,PS1,PS3,PSP,and VIta. At no point was the game unplayable. I love it on all those systems. I found the load times annoying but the shortened load times on PS3,PSP,and Vita curbed that.

It was actually better. It added anime cut-scenes and a new ending. It did however,add loading times. Though playing this version on PSP or the Vita,you could shorten the load times.

The loading can be sped up by the PSP and the Vita.
