There were easily a half-dozen jokes built entirely around Deadpool sexually harassing Colossus. The joke is that Deadpool is doing something gay and assaultive, and that’s funny.

It’s not a well written movie. Killing her moved the plot along quickly but didn’t advance it. The fact that it was reversed was more of a cop out especially since it happened after the credits started rolling.    Stakes without stakes.

The R-rating thing was a little overblown. Deadpool’s whole appeal is meta-jokes, and things like Rick and Morty have shown that meta-jokes anda dult humor can be done on a PG-13 rating. Even the censoring of the cursing and violence can be made into a meta-joke like the way R&M uses bleeping.

I only watched the first ep, but I imagine it’s what rich old crypto-fascist fucks whose grandchildren are enrolled at Exeter think modern public school is like.

I also don’t buy that he heard his mother yelling over noise cancelling headphones that are blasting music.

I watched the episodes they aired Thursday, Friday and Saturday for some unknown reason, as they were total garbage. And whoever cast those bland babies to take the Christian Slater and Winona Ryder roles should be fired immediately.

I was significantly enraged by the “punching down” aspect of their comedy, like they were trying to write a hot take about so-called PC culture. I didn’t enjoy it at all. It wasn’t even good for a hate watch, since I was mostly nauseated and disappointed.
