If they explain why they want us to be poorer, less well educated and less healthy I would be more sympathetic towards them.

Peaceful protestors do not commit unlawful imprisonment. It’s one thing to hold a protest and block traffic while marching, or even block traffic in general, but it’s a very different thing to surround someone’s car so that they cannot move and put them in fear of assault if they were to leave the car.

There’s this thing called “entrapment”. Look it up sometime

Did he “drive into them”? They aggressively blocked him.

Plus, the headline photo is from when he is actually reversing away from the crowd.  I don’t like Manchin, but this article is straight dog shit.  Let’s suggest he plowed his way through a crowd all Charlottsville style, and we’ll use a photo that makes it look like he is driving into the crowd, when he is actually

Yeah, there are incidents where people are running over protesters.  But this ain’t it.

He definitely didn’t assault the protesters, and no they don’t get to just surround his car and make him sit there.

Yeah, I watched the video and there was no lurching. Looks like he just let off the brakes a bit (not fully as the brake lights appear to be on) and let the car creep forward naturally a tiny bit.

This article read as if the Sunrise Movement wrote it.

Was there another video that wasn’t linked with the mentioned “lurched forward”? Letting the car creep forward instead of just waiting for the guys that were clearing them away to finish doing so wasn’t a great move, but it also wasn’t some Charlottesville incident in the making.

That’s how you end up .4psi out of spec, and we all know where that leads.

Bro lives in NYC, where reality is sometimes a little less than real.

4th gear: Both of them would’ve been done and dusted long ago if not for the fact that Republicans can’t be bothered to lift a finger to help America and two Senate Democrats are using the occasion to go on extended ego trips.

When the system doesn’t do it’s job you can expect three basic reaction categories from people:

When the formal justice system decides people have no recourse against theft, what do you expect to happen? When theft is legalized or defacto legalized, what happens? Look at San Francisco. Retail chains are just closing up location after location because shoplifting has essentially been legalized.

It’s not sad at all. Some people recognize that the thief isn’t simply stealing their property, he’s stealing the portion of their life to earn that property.

Very much evokes current pick-up truck styling to me.

In one instance, a video shows passengers scolding American staff at a counter before the staff appear to say that they will call the police.”

The whole airline employees missing due to opting out of vaccines thing is a dumb conspiracy theory that has been debunked multiple times.

Regardless of why airlines have to cancel flights like this, all I know is one thing:
