Prove he did it for anything more than a teenage laugh. Good luck with that.

While I think it is easy to say he had intent to “roll coal”, I think it is a much harder row to hoe to say he intended to hit anyone while doing it.

This happened on the wrong side of the border for that sort of thing.

How did you come to the conclusion that conservatives disapprove of cyclists more that others of different political persuasion?

Well-to-do people moving into an area and driving up property values. Oh, the horror.

I don’t think cyclists belong on the road at all, nor on pedestrian used routes neither, but even I draw the line at giving you lot the death penalty. Certainly not without due process, anyway.

“attempted manslaughter”

Nah, minors should be tried as minors and adults should be tried as adults. If there’s generally a disparity in justice associated with trying someone as a minor vs as an adult, then the problem is systemic, not circumstantial.

That is the only thing I won’t blame them on. Everyone knows that the first and only thing you say to a cop is “lawyer”. Even if all they say is your shoe is untied, you lawyer up before you lace up.

If the annoying cyclists want to use the road and have the same rights as motor vehicles, then they need to pay the same licensing fees & taxes. Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, license plates etc.

Let’s not get too wrapped up in blaming the lawyer. It’s his *job* to vigorously defend his client. In this case, he knows what his client did is indefensible and is just throwing up a smoke screen. He’s probably hoping the judge/jury/prosecutor aren’t stupid enough to fall for it.

You Americans keep wanting to arrest everyone for anything, I don’t get it. So a young douche made a fault a injured some cyclists. Sad, punishable, but why criminal? We call it accident here in Europe and you are not arrested for such even if you kill someone, because why? You are then tried and punished of course,

Maybe he committed a crime maybe he made a stupid mistake - maybe not arresting a kid before a full investigation is the right thing to do.

This is accountability.
Police can’t just beat folks’ @sses because the person they are arresting is an idiot.

That story about not pulling over because he was afraid was purrrre bullsh1t. People are now using police misconduct as cover for actin’ a fool. Remember Nika Holbert who shot a cop and was subsequently shot

Fuck these psychotic pigs. But damn, over 100 mph? Could have killed someone. And speeding to not get pulled over makes no fucking sense. Doesn’t excuse them but this kid is a dope. I’m a brown guy who was roughed up by cops once at a party bust as a teen, approached and questioned multiple times as an adult

“To protect and serve, and treat you like a King”

I use microfiber towels for washing cars, and the heavily soiled ones get a splash of degreaser in the wash to get out oil and other residue. Do NOT use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Microfiber will absolutely absorb the residue, and it’s very frustrating chasing streaks on your windows from contaminated cloths.

How about washing a car? That’s typically when I use microfiber cloths

what a nut case….you must be a JOY to live with….

we don’t have these types of problems with the Latino community
