@Chrystolis: The Backup/Restore works perfectly. I also changed my HDD from a 60 to a 500, and it was smooth sailing.

@Chrystolis: Since you can backup to a USB HDD using the Backup Utility ( when your PS3 doesn't die ), you can more than likely take the HDD out of the PS3, hook it up to a PC ( you'll need an adapter ) and transfer the files manually.

JRPG's aren't stale because of conventions such as turn-based battles or evil-battling stories ... they're stale because 90% of them are produced like very cheap animes, with annoying characters and terrible dialogue.
