Not saying you’re wrong, but some perspective. I don’t think I’d have bought one for that price, but we paid about 32k for mine. To compare, the Honda CRV with 50 or so fewer horsepower is about that much money, and the new Mazda turbo is about 38k if memory serves. But the Sportage also has heated seats, and wheel,

Agreed.

I haven’t read the article yet Andrew. I just want to say I’m glad to see your name again. Hope you’ve recovered well.

Precisely what I thought about it, Andrew. Good review! The Sportage is easy to live with and is better than its Hyundai sibling, the Tucson. Late last year, I somehow got 28MPG on a drive from Denver to Durango to Telluride to Grand Junction in the same vehicle. But that’s because I am obsessive with coasting and

As much as I like catching up on the latest special edition Mustangs and whatever new variation of the 911 Porsche is pimping, I really appreciate reviews of normal cars like this.

Price, sportiness, and MPG.  Sort of with all things in life, you get to pick 2 out of 3.

Gas will need to $10 a gallon to make people care enough for 27 mpg vs 34 mpg.

The ahthor was compareing the awd versions fuel economy to compare it to a fwd sedan is not entirely fair. The only cheap small all wheel drive sedans I can think of is the impreza, legacy , and lancer. And they dont get amazing fuel economy either when you compare it to an accord or camry

The world is better for you being in it. Keep the strength, keep the power. I believe in you.

Thank you man. I’m incredibly sorry that you went through this and I appreciate you sharing.

I can’t overstate how phenomenal the people of UD and the school itself were in the weeks and months after. Dayton will always have a place in my heart.

The support from the UD community and the rugby team specifically has been so amazing. You guys have done so much to honor him and support our family, along with creating a scholarship in his honor. A personal thanks to you and all of the amazing at that school.

Thank you for sharing this. As someone who struggles with depression, despite all the help offered, stories like this are what really cement my decision to keep on going.

Condolences to you and your family. This happened to me when I was 12. My brother was 23. He had just graduated college, he had started a chapter of a fraternity. He was the life of every party. He was the last person that you would think would do such a thing.

This article is moving, and I believe many among us will see a part of ourselves in your path through grief to a more soothing place.

These experiences can make one ponder so much that it is healthy to take a step back and try not to get to hung up about goals. I hope your project of roaming Ireland without any firm

Holy cow. I got goosebumps when I read his name and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the picture—I played rugby with Kevin for the University of Dayton club team. When the news broke I couldn’t believe it. As I’m sure you know, there is now a tournament held in his remembrance.

*Hugs* Condolences.

Thank you for sharing this.

I am sorry for your loss.

Oh my God, man.
