Honestly when I see men that claim to want to be child free but they don’t get a vasectomy I give a huge side eye. It’s almost saying I don’t want to have kids with my partner but I want to keep my options open for someone else.

I’ve known a few people who were strongly in the no child camp. Each one had their mind changed by a partner or an oopsie. I’m the only one I know who hasn’t changed my mind.

Same. As a child free person, I find the switch fascinating. Granted, I’m in my 40s and I think a lot of the switch can be attributed to getting older and having different perspectives on life. When I was in my 20s I wasn’t ready yet, but over time, “not yet” became “not ever.”

Marriages are often over years before the divorce announcement, so if John Mulaney was cheating, it’s probably the least surprising thing about this.

I’m just impressed at Mulaney’s ability to get things done during a pandemic. Dude gained a drug addiction, a mistress, a baby and an ex-wife all while I’m still having my groceries delivered.

I think there’s a difference between a character actor, particularly a private one who has never made their personal life part of their job (at least on purpose), and someone who made “their business” their literal business and then continues to do so. Kind of like the idea of “opening the door” in court.
