One redeeming thing about Harry/Ginny is that he finally gets to have the loving family he always wanted. Certainly he was embraced as an honorary Weasley already without marrying into them, but it may be more satisfying for him to know it's "official".

Oh! I misread it as "If I weren't married..." Reading it correctly, he comes across as even more presumptuous (which is saying something). As if the only thing keeping him out of your pants was the fact you were married and not things like you having the right to choose whom you sleep with and the fact that he's a

If you enjoy Lisa Kleypas and Eloisa James, I enthusiastically recommend Julia Quinn.

Maybe he brought out her fun side a little more. Snape can be a bit serious.

I haven't read the books yet (I know, I know) but I imagine I'll have a similar reaction, because the film definitely had that effect on me. I spent the whole thing with a low-grade unease that built up by the end of it.

Yeees. I've always thought so, too. Voldemort, he's predictable—you expect him to do awful things, because he's established early on as the villain. Whatever the most awful thing to do is, he does it, because he's a clear-cut storybook bad guy and evil is his motivation. He's simple, as villains go, and even looks

She said something about choosing the Harry/Ginny pairing for personal reasons, so that does suggest she has more connection to that character.

Wow. I'm sure that's photoshopped all to hell, but I also remember what she looks like and you can't really fake that bone structure convincingly (even with good contouring).

Gross. Just...gross.

The leg-shaving question is a deal-breaker for me. It doesn't even matter whether I choose to shave my legs or not, if someone thinks I have an OBLIGATION to, we're not going to get along.

I'd never heard of it until now, either, and I'm an American!

I think I'd skip the salt, but the pineapple and cottage cheese combo is great. Especially if you use crushed pineapple. Something about the juice does something really good to the cottage cheese.

I'm with her on the Jell-o and cherries and pecans, and could even tolerate the lettuce leaf, but that mayo is going WAY too far.

I get where you're coming from. Without the context of constant objectification and externally-forced wariness that a lot of women deal with on a daily basis, it can be hard to see how something like that can be insulting or even threatening. I think what's important is that you outgrew it, largely because you were

I find it saddening that you feel that way, but I understand it. So much—TOO much—emphasis is placed on what a woman's body looks like :(

It must be very nice living in your friend's world.

Ugh. I hope his wife leaves him (if she hasn't already).

Um...his attraction to you (or lack thereof) doesn't negate the fact that his behavior was CLEARLY sexual harassment and incredibly unprofessional. Ugh. HE should have been the one fired!

I don't think Kinja accepts regular html tags. I saw someone's <i> </i> right out in the open in another comment.

It's sad that blaming and dismissing victims is so prevalent that your friends feel the need to preface such stories that way. It *should* be obvious that harassment isn't flattering, but some people just don't get it :(
