I don't know. I'm skeptical of the stated message. *Maybe* that's what they meant, but my immediate impression was that this was aimed at all the men out there with hate-ons for Hillary Clinton. Sort of a "Yeah, if I were married to her, I'd cheat, too, hurr hurr" type of thing. So I'm not sure this is all that

But only behind someone else's back, 'cause that's how they roll.

Very. Which is, I suppose, what you'd expect from Ashley Madison.

Perfect comment. I absolutely agree.

Me, too.

"very sheltered late bloomer"—yes. I hadn't thought of it in exactly those words, but you're right. She still seems very teenager-y to me.

That's a very insightful comment, and I think you're right. I've seen a lot of "learn to live within your means!" and similar commentary aimed at poor people by those who can't seem to grasp the concept that some people can't afford ANY means. Accepting that it can happen to anyone if they get shit on enough means

That's definitely a possibility, especially if anyone there was difficult to work with (which is something I've heard about Bruce Willis).

Yup. And objecting to poor people being called poor? That's not actually helping anyone.

I liked that aspect of the movie, too, and it's one of the reasons I found her character relatable despite some of her more obnoxious behavior (and also made some of the obnoxious behavior more relatable than it would normally have been).

Yes, exactly! The original tweet doesn't offend me, but the reaction kinda does.

Wow. Your friend is pretty out-of-touch. Did you tell her what the number really is?

I think this is what bothers me about the whole thing. Not the original tweet—that, I don't find offensive. What I *do* find offensive is the "OMG you called people POOR!" reaction, which implies that doing so is an insult. My household income is below the poverty line. I am poor. I would rather not be, but not

I haven't watched it nearly that much, but it *is* one of those movies that always entertains me, whatever mood I'm in.

No doubt. It should be interesting to see how things have progressed in another five or ten years.

I agree! What's wrong with saying "I really had fun making that movie" or something like that? I don't understand the need to take one's self so seriously.

I agree. It seems like there are more "out" kids than there were even in the '90s, when I was in jr high and high school, and like it's not as big a deal to as many of the other kids as it used to be.

Aw, that's a bummer. I'm glad you've found at least a couple that work, though! There do seem to be a lot fewer yellow-toned pale shades than pink-toned ones out there, for sure.

And this is why I do NOT give guys my phone number until we've talked for a while and I know he's not going to pester me constantly with bullshit. I've pissed off a couple gross, overly forward guys on OKCupid that way, but ask me if I give a fuck.

Yeah, I'm not keen on the pale, frosty lips going on in the first photo, but the second one is nice.
