Honestly, I think place names in general are just bad. All of them. Yes, even the ones that started out as someone's surname.

I'm pretty sure I've heard of kids called London :/
Oh, God. It's like she got a new toy.
To be fair, Bella and Isabella were pretty popular before Twilight came out.
That's...kinda what I thought, too. It has all the tweeness of Heaven Leigh without the super classy V.C. Andrews connection :P
I laughed way too hard at this.
I would make the connection, but I don't think I'd make it with Trenton, since that's been a name for a while.
That's how I pronounce it in my head, too.
That's excellent advice. Meddling parents need to realize that their adult children's lives and relationships are their own, and that seems like a good way to set that boundary.
Possibly both! :P
As it should be!
Probably all or any combination of those things.
I absolutely agree. Anytime a parent meddles to the point of actually causing problems in a marriage, I wonder why his or her own kid didn't speak up.
I think in some cases where a reason is needed infidelity or "alienation of affection" can have an effect on the outcome, but I don't know of any cases for sure.
So, yeah. People who say women are ALWAYS the passive-aggressive ones? *points*
He turned out to be disappointingly jerky.
Same, here!
I'm still living with my soon-to-be-ex-husband until I'm on more secure financial footing, and dating someone I see once a week and text/chat with on the other days. The situation with my boyfriend is perfect, and I expect it to continue that way after my ex moves out.
Oh, I watched something about that a while back. She killed him in the garage, and I'm pretty sure it was a hatchet.
Maybe she got sick of it longer ago than that and had a kid she stuck around for, or something. But, yeah, I'd be pissed after just a day or two.
