Ah, I see. That makes sense. And I agree.

This is so fucking creepy on so many levels that I can't even see all of them from here. I'm willing to bet this isn't the first inappropriate thing this teacher has done. Kids don't just decide overnight that they're going to request a lap dance.
That's the point being made here, that other articles about this incident have a jokey, not-taking-it-seriously tone.
In mine, which was four years before that, I don't think we would even have used the phrase "lap dance" within hearing of most of the teachers, let alone suggested one.
Seriously. It makes me wonder how many layers of inappopriateness she'd already traveled through with that class to make them think this was a viable suggestion.
Yup. It's okay to be the object, but God forbid we decide to be the subject...
I wish I were surprised. But, yeah, I've reported stuff like that and had it go nowhere, too :(
Yes, I know—that's why I mentioned women's butts.
Good question. I'm also wondering when "vagina" became a dirty word, as the OP implies.
But it seems like assholes would appreciate the representation.
Apparently the photo that was banned was more naked than this one, but it was still just a shot from behind.
I reported a child abuse video once...don't know what ever came of that. But, by all means, let's ban women's bodies.
I've seen things as revealing or more so on FB. I've also seen more offensive memes, and shockingly cruel and fill-in-the-blank-ist comments that did not get removed. But I guess women's butts are gonna be the downfall of our society.
IF I remember right (it's been a while) his point was that people on bikes were being ticketed (or at least rebuked) for not being in the lanes or for running into things that were in the way, but there were no consequences for those who blocked the lanes and caused the problem in the first place.
Exactly! There's so little respect for bike lanes even when the exist.
I was wondering the same! And, wow, what an example to set for those girls...
Really? I thought it was obvious at the very beginning, when you can see almost the whole driver's side window.
This is one of the things that concerns me about it, too. Even cities that have consistent bike lanes (mine is NOT one of these) have terrible drivers who don't pay attention to cyclists. At least on foot I can use sidewalks—or grass, in their absence. If someone hits me while I'm on foot OFF the road or in a…
It's probably not quite spectacular or specific enough for them.
I was thinking this, too. It's sad that someone died, and tragic because it was due to her own (preventable) error in judgment, but thank GOD she didn't kill or injure anyone else.
