And, even if it IS fake—which I doubt—the point is that it's 100% believable because this guy is a disgusting sleazebag.

Might have, not of. But I agree.
I wouldn't, either. I hadn't even heard of the guy until a few months ago
The only famous person you can sleep with and actually become famous yourself is Prince.
AGREED.
Good point!
Probably bamboo, since that's sustainable, grows fast, blah blah blah.
Yeah. Even if it's someone I like, it can be awkward running into them out of context. And with celebrities, they're usually aware that anyone could be watching them at any time, so that can add another layer of discomfort to a chance meeting, especially if it's someone they really only know by name.
Joan Rivers says Gwyneth Paltrow "has a stick up her rear end."
Oh, man. I'm glad you were able to make it a teachable moment, but it's sad that these ideas are so entrenched (and unquestioned) by the time kids are seven. On the up side, maybe your discussion about it will stick with him, and make him think more about the messages he gets in the future.
Also, are you supposed to dunk your head, or just sit in it? So many questions!
Everything is right about that picture. Everything.
That looks so cute on her, yet so dorky on the model on the website, even though they're probably not that far apart in age. Oh, the difference a denim shirt makes.
This makes me think of a tweet I read the other day, where some guy was wondering whether women with hair under their arms were making a political statement or "just lazy". Like it has to be one or the other, and nobody can just not really give a shit, or even think about it very much, any number of other reasons…
I don't like the details of the dress, but the cut is gorgeous and does wonderful things for her shape. I agree!
She looked sooooo gorgeous. Everything about that was perfect.
Right? She looks so cute and uncharacteristically understated that I didn't even recognize her. That dress is perfect.
Yeah...it's definitely unsettling. And suspicious. It seems like the hypersexualization was actually sort of encouraged by her mom, from a couple things I've seen.
Exactly!
"Whataboutery"—I like that :D
