Nothing scarier than a naked old man just walking around your house in the middle of the night!

KJ Apa is such a sexy, sexy idiot. That rose gold outfit will haunt me to my dying days.
Ugh, yeah. Just the thought of it makes me want to cry. I also just realised that I never watched the final season, and really should get around to that!
I love MMFD but god, there are a few plots that are SO painful they make me want to curl into a tiny ball. The horrible dalliance with the shitty guy from therapy being the main one.
I bet he could if he wanted toooooo
Yup, Fontana definitely elevated Greg and managed to make him both lovable and pathetic. Aline Brosh McKenna said they’ll be playing with Rebecca’s changing perceptions of Greg which sounds interesting, but....idk.
I have total faith in Rachel Bloom but the idea of recasted Greg makes me sad. His arc was already great and finished perfectly, I really don’t want to see a lame imitation of him ruining that.
Maybe it’s because I’m an uncultured Australian, but “Bah-bar” makes me so mad. “BAB-ar”forever!
You mean no Cod, surely.
Maybe I’m overtired but I cannot stop laughing over a modern version of Persuasion named “Modern Persuasion”
It’s been mentioned a few times but I’ll never forgive whoever is responsible for choosing the name “Selfie”, thus ensuring nobody would ever watch it despite being a genuinely great show. How could they squander John Cho as the romantic lead like that?!
I loved this movie a ridiculous amount as a kid. In retrospect it was probably just because I had a raging crush on Janeane Garofalo that I didn’t quite understand at the time.
Right? I always found it so hilarious that they took “Lord Asriel kills Roger and tears apart the fabric of the universe to go punch god in the face” and turned it into “they all fly away in a hot air balloon yay!”
Yup, I was allowed to watch pretty much everything as a kid (hooray older siblings and inattentive parents!) and was completely unbothered by all the gore and age-inappropriate stuff I saw. Now I can barely stomach gore or naturalistic violence in movies, but I don’t know when that shift occurred. Maybe adult brains…
It has some glorious high points and a lot of very, very low points. Most of the time it’s still pretty fun though.
There are two animal deaths, one a bit gross and the other off-screen. It’s nothing too gruesome!
Good luck! I’m a huge wimp and found it totally bearable, actually even enjoyable! Definitely some disturbing imagery and a great overall sense of dread, but much less scary than I was bracing myself for.
I’m going to see it tonight and have been palpably stressed ALL DAY.
Reggie Watts would be amazing, holy shit. I need that immediately.
Between Artax and the Rock Biter, Neverending Story is up there for most traumatising children’s movie ever. “They look like big, strong, good hands, don’t they...”
