It was a beautiful sight, that lumbering giant at Airventure. Nice view from the EAA waterplane base as well. You were able to visit the plane for a fee, during its stay there.

If I remember correctly, at AirVenture 2016 (the final flight), they had to abandon takeoff, overran their runout and hit some rocks. That’s why she hasn’t flown since.
