It’s Florida. You can gun people down with impunity and it will always be “Self Defense”. Provided they are the “wrong kinds of people”.
It’s okay, according to our Supreme Court, this jackass is a “well regulated militia”. Freedom upheld!
He’ll be elected to our Florida Senate next cycle I’m sure.
This is the society you get when you treat firearm ownership as an inalienable right, rather than a privilege with responsibilities.
He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.
Further proof the term ‘luxury’ has no real meaning.
Just selling a car for a high price does not make it a “luxury” car.
Saw this the other day and thought, wow... I’m so glad I learned how to back up a vehicle using the side view mirrors. No way in HELL I would even attempt that maneuver. I’ll back down that road thank you very much.

The first time I saw a liquid mirror telescope that could change its curvature I thought it was the neatest thing ever. Doing it with comparatively solid surfaces is far more impressive.
“I’m not going to lie, humanity has been pretty disappointing lately.” - That is an understatement. Things like the JWST is a just a small example of the things that humankind could be doing every day if it wasn’t obsessed with wars, religion, sports and Instagram.
I love that not only can they fine tune the aim of each mirror individually to the nanometer level, but they can also control the curvature.

China spent something like $750B on lithium mines around the world in 2021. They’re going to hold all the keys to BEV production, and they’re going to make us pay for it.
That’s... a very good point. I would prefer to not buy gas from the middle east or russia, and I would prefer to not have a battery made in China.
Another way I heard it described: we’re making the same footprint, we just changed the socks we’re wearing.
