I don't know if you watch anime, but the second half of Death Note completely ruins the first half imo

To be fair, Becky G is a Youtuber turned singer, so it's probably a good thing they didn't give her a whole lot for her first acting gig
What's especially confusing is that Daredevil made it seem like Gao was separate from The Hand.
The One comes to mind.
Just one episode?
You're right, they could definitely be better. For a show about a supposed kung fu master, the fight scenes are really weak. Finn Jones, other casting controversy aside, is really miscast. They should have at least found someone with some prior fighting experience.
Well, it's an A.A. Dowd C+, which means it's probably a solid B.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of Buffy, I'm finally watching Angel. (I watched Buffy in its entirety a few years ago)
I think that's kind of the point.
This is definitely the best interview of the bunch so far.
One thing I've always found interesting (that this list illustrates in part) is that the Buffyverse as its own "thing" didn't really spin off into a massive pop culture phenomenon. I was caught off guard at how different the show feels now that we're in the Trump era.

I think they're gonna save the full on reality warping till the end. That's Legion's strongest power.
But where are we gonna find another muslim Kenyan communist at this hour?

If any of them were President, yeah, I would.
In case you haven't noticed, we elected a reality TV star as President. Trump is pop culture.
So much this. As horrific as the Parker situation is, at least he went through the system. Same with Cosby. But all these white celebrities have the uncanny ability to throw a little money around and sweep everything under the rug.
Jeff Bridges' reaction was mine. The whole thing was hilarious.
