Is the “Marina” really just a pond they threw some boats into? That’s what it looks like, but I’m so astounded by that, that I have to know for sure.

Edit: Ho. Lee. Shit. It’s FAKE water, just a fancy floor covering. What. In. The. Actual. Hell. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/f1-autosport/1604530/f1-news-miami-grand-p

This would also put a big dent in carbon emissions. There is a lot of inefficiency having a large engine putting low power. European cars are a good example.  There are many examples that get over 50MPG because they are small.  They are slow too, so there is that.

I know, but instead of calling them loonies, I’m trying to see their side of it and just ask questions, ya know?

Where in VAERS does it show deaths from vaccines? I’m having trouble finding it.

It’s hard to call him a victim.  I mean, I can see that, but he also put his hands where it didn’t belong.  If I chop my thumb off with a knife, am I victim of the knife maker?  It sounds like his thumb would be fine if the car didn’t have this feature, sooo, I don’t know.  Lot’s of gray area here.

15 years of your life is a minor penalty? I guess you don’t value your life that much.

The customers still had to pay for a AAA membership before they got the tow paid for, so AAA still got money from the customers. It seems Matt changed the dates so it looked like the tow happened AFTER they got their AAA membership.

It does penalize us AAA members a little, but not enough for the man to spend 15

To be fair, the things he did doesn’t seem that serious. Bilking AAA out of a few thousand dollars seems like a minor issue. Hopefully he gets off with a stern warning and clarification of the law.  But if he doesn’t stop, then he goes to jail.

I don’t know, seems like a pretty minor infraction. Hopefully, things get cleared up and he isn’t punished, or just gets a slap on the wrist.

Junk yard engine replacement? Also, invest in one of these bad boys: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Q38S3ZS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_YYCVNW6QHY80AXS95DWW

SoCal?  Would be even more impressive if this car was in the midwest.

Ahhh, unless you are part of the high IQ club and realize that cart corralling is a decent first job for many youth.  So, by not putting your cart back, you are saving jobs!

The real reason, for me, is that I have only one quarter because I don’t use cash anymore.  lol, I lose that quarter, I can’t shop there anymore!

Objectively better in terms of safety, quality, how long they last, etc.  Subjectively worse, in my opinion, in areas of driver interaction.  I like analog controls, true analog, not analog to digital.

Meh, accidents still happen at 4 way stops (or, pretty much anywhere for that matter..). Another benefit of the roundabout is a t-bone is less likely to happen since traffic all moves in a similar direction instead of perpendicular to each other. So, serious accidents should be reduced.  In theory, of course, I don’t

Get out of here with that.  People know how to use roundabouts.  People are too timid for my liking, but they know how to use them.

100k miles on a school bus doesn’t mean low operating hours.  School buses have a lot of stop and go and low speed operation, so 100k on a school bus might be the same hours as a 1,000,000 miles on a highway operated vehicle.

That’s not a nightmare car, all of that (except the water pump) was self inflicted or a mechanic screw up, not the cars fault.

That’s not an inventory thing, that’s an assembly line thing.  The more complexity there is, the more expensive the assembly line becomes.  Now, a fully automated assembly line on the other hand...
