Let’s be accurate here, because we are threading a needle.  Dodge neon?  No, Dodge Neon SRT4-ACR?  Yes.  lol

No way you can find an SRT-4 ACR for those prices. A base model neon, yea. If you do find one though, send it my way.

Or, you know, don’t hit stuff...

What happens if you floor it with the windows closed?  Does the car implode?  lol

It means in Q3, Tesla spent ~500 million and brought in ~800 million (assuming 5,000 cars per week at 40k per car).  It’s a very short term, like saying I made $1,000 net profit in one day... on payday.  True long-term profitability is still to be seen.

Keeping it at $5 would be the best answer in the long run, but that assumes that you have the excess burger making capacity to meet the demand a $5 burger would bring.  Most business do not have such excess capacity just sitting around, it would be a waste of money.

That’s a bunch of horse manure. They are using them because they are cheap, and the series doesn’t have enough money to invest in real tires.

No, lousy metric.  Downshift!

I’ve only been to one race in NYC, but watching the cars slide around wasn’t that exciting. Coupled with how quiet it was, it was a really odd race. I would rather see the cars pulling massive g’s in the corner, but then again, I have SOME racing experience, so that probably changes things for me.

Thanks for the insult. That being said, I find the lack of grip boring. It’s actually easier to drive a car at it’s limits when the traction is low, things happen slower. It’s much harder to drive when it can pull 4g’s in a corner.

Where does it say I dismissed it for that reason?  I dismiss it for many reasons, but this article was specific about the new car, which is cool, but still could use better tires.

Ever seen a race in person? It’s boring, they need more grip, they slide all over the place.

But they are still using treaded tires! Put on some real racing slicks and they might be interesting.

Do you think your management didn’t realize that?  Either they couldn’t pay, or they didn’t think those young engineers were worth it.

Maybe you should do the math instead of guessing. Here is an example: Ford has roughly 100,000 workers with a median pay of $87,783 with all compensation. That works out to nearly $9 Billion. Executive pay is just under $100 Million. So, even cutting all executive pay to $0 would give all workers about $1,000 per

Maybe one day UNICEF will get into the impound business, but until then...

And that is the typical response of those lazy workers. Those of us who are not lazy get the higher wages.

It’s astounding that you think people don’t realize this. They can only pay as much as the company makes. If it costs more to pay the workers than the job’s income, it’s not going to last long.

Seems like a quick battery swap would work too. Come into the gas station, and drive over a pit, like an oil change place. A machine pulls the old battery from the bottom, and installs the new one, charged ready to go.

$420.69 is the actual amount.
