Bottled water isn’t really that big of a deal. We buy it when we go shopping, and it sits on the counter for when we want to use it. We even have spring water for drinking and cooking, and distilled water for the Kuerig. I think the idea of it sounds worse than it actually is in real life, at least for us.
GM even offered to install an RO system... but they wanted one at EVERY location. Oh well, maybe they will sell their house super cheap to someone who can handle life’s minor inconveniences.
Certainly, the high salt levels are a PITA and are inconvenient, but you can still cook and shower with it. My main point was that it’s a bit dramatic to say this issue is a dream killer or causes serious harm to someones happiness. Water softener + RO system = problem solved.
Or a race track... *cough* Waterford hills *cough*.
The salt thing is kind a PITA, but again, just a bit of an inconvenience, you can still cook with it. My family has been doing bottled water for 5 years now due to high arsenic levels in our well.
Arsenic is naturally occurring in ground water. It’s not a given that you need an RO system in all places, but it’s pretty common as arsenic is always there, but not always high enough to need to do anything. Also, it’s possible you had high arsenic but didn’t know it, since most homeowners don’t test their water…
Oh what a bunch of malarky. I live NNW of there by about 15 miles, and I also have high arsenic. It’s super common in SE Michigan. That’s why most homes with wells NEED RO systems.
I mean, it’s an inconvenience to have a well, but c’mon this is really overly dramatic.
I heard it is the law in some European countries.
It’s possible but really hard in a car since everything is so light and the revs change quickly. Try it at really low RPM, should be easier. Trucks do this all the time since the revs are lower and things are heavier, the gears spend more time at the “sweet spot”. Couple that with no synchromesh makes it easy.
The good news is, if your credit score is over 600, you don’t qualify for such benefits!
Cool thanks. I figured someone would correct me. I’ve always wanted to restore an old diesel pickup with mechanical injection just so I could get a license plate that said “EMP PRUF” and be accurate about it. Guess I have more of a reason now!
How does it shut off the boat, but NOT the camera? I feel like we are missing a LOT of information here.
I’m surprised it affected the boat. These outboards looks like they would have a magneto and a carburetor. All analog electronics, nothing digital.
Early merging is dumb. A bottle neck is a bottle neck, no matter if it happens at mile marker 10 or 15. If everyone could stop tailgating, there might be a chance of merging without issue, but good luck with that.
But what if he jumped out of the plane on a treadmill?
A huge 22k bill in my newborn childs name? Ok, file for bankruptcy. No assets to lose, and plenty of time for it to come off his history.
In this case it was past tents.
First and foremost the check engine light is for malfunctioned emissions components. You are contributing to pollution, you selfish bastard.
I hope 2nd gear comes true. This would be a HUGE boon for US automakers.
Yawn... that’s just a typical morning on M-39 south!
