Yeah, same. Although the suicide doors suck when parked next to other cars.

I’ve got one I’m leasing. It feels very big. Flow-through floor, sits high, lots of head room, great visibility. iDrive sucks.
My issues with the GTI vs i3 segment was the lack of real review of either car. They used to spend time talking about the cars, and what they liked and what they didn’t like. This time, Clarkson showed off Adaptive Cruise, which both cars had, and May just had issues using a charging network. Nothing about the…
Yeah, this is the big one... especially with any lingering range anxiety. I need warm, or at least not stiff, hands to drive. That and a seat warmer and I can deal with the rest of the car being frigid.
Average age of cars on the road in the US last year was 11.5. source. Cars last longer now. Even if it was 8 yrs, that’s still short sighted. Obama was elected 8 years ago, and that seems like yesterday.
Thanks for the story; would read again. :)
Engineer Pass in a minivan that’s awesome. Cheers.

HESH. WANTS. POPPERS!!!
“dont use comic sans” ha ha ha
Pi pairs really well with this for the execution of an action, but yeah, using the dot for the voice half seems easier now.
Hooning in bad weather on empty roads is fun with little risk. As soon as there is a foot of snow on the ground, I’m in the Jeep and it’s me, 4 wheelers, and plows out having a good time. Be smart, be careful, but come on.. we need to take safety off the pedestal and have some unregulated fun now and again.
1. Thanks for these articles; the detail and specific lessons learned are awesome.
2. That pickup, though. Moar.
3. Every XJ and TJ I have owned has the same dang electrical bugs. Bang on the starter, wiggle the battery lead, wire brush the ground on the block. At least 6 times a year I go through that list.
When I was 15 I watched a man and woman on a bike get hit at an intersection while passing illegally. She was ~250lbs and took the brunt of it; he was up front, neither wore helmets. They were hit laterally at about 20mph. I worked at the gas station on the corner and watched it all happen. I ran out to them and…
I’ve done the auto-to-manual swap on a Mk4 Jetta. It’s getting the right parts the first time with which I had the most trouble. I did a 6-speed because go big or go home, but I shouldn’t have. It would have been a lot cheaper to do a 5-speed, and the benefits just aren’t there to make it worth it.
Still not believing it until I see a plant retool for it.
A 2-door was the only expected one until this picture, because of the frame/tooling. Good article on allpar about it.
My dad had a regular bed for years and just recently sold it and bought one of these. Low miles, perfect shape, one owner. The looks have grown on him.
