I drove an '02 Beetle TDI for a couple of years because I paid so little money for it, and it got such great MPG, that the savings vastly overcompensated for the image concerns. After a couple of weeks, I was singing it's praises. Huuuuge head room, ample leg space, and you would not believe the stuff you can fit in

I have a new theory. It is a fallacy that Russians don't give a shit. Russians give the appropriate number of shits.

wow check out the ground clearance with that suspension set up. Looks like portals. Probably no suspension travel, though.

thanks for the laugh

Anybody remember "The Dig" ? Loved that game. I replayed a particular piece over and over trying to understand a sound byte. To this day, I'm quite sure it was:

You know what happens next, right?

That pricing calculator page Tesla has thrown up is laughable math. "effective monthly cost", "what's your time worth", ". Come on. Be serious. If your target audience is luxury car buyers, this isn't needed. If it's commuters, then you are not building the right car.

ah, interesting. Thanks. What about news segments and stig track times?

Top Gear UK's format seems to be growing somewhat stale. Of the few episodes I've seen of Top Gear US, I've noticed a mildly-rigid approach to that same format. I love the UK show (I'd like to love the US one, but it's not on Netflix); what plans, if any, do you guys have regarding some change to the tried-and-true

I could deal with ugly, but unfortunately, no, the range is insufficient. Thanks, though.

1st: I just spent an hour this weekend running the numbers for my family on a base Model S. I factored in the fuel savings, maintenance savings, state incentives, rising fuel prices, and every other factor I could think of, and still could not hit Model S as a practical vehicle, unless I was already looking at luxury

Check out this article.. A Limited with the same change, but NOT 'shopped.

yeah, but they took too long to get in any kind of significant number. By then, I could have 15 regular tanks with their strength-in-numbers buff and it was game over. Oh man, I kinda want to go find my install CD, now. :)

It looks a bit hackish but if I sorta clean it up in my minds eye.. much better than the shiny bits. Much better.

This game is on my top 10 of all time just because of the sheer amount of fun I had w/ the Tank General

Let's hope this will give Chrysler time to make a proper Grand Wagoneer. Please don't waste the moniker. Just make a luxury SUV that screams tradition so I can buy it used a few years later. No evolving looks or pushing of envelopes or LEDs or 20" wheels or sport modes or hatchback cargo areas or carbon fiber dash

I'm not thrilled with the design, but the argument that this needs to be as trail-capable as an XJ doesn't hold water with me. Anyone looking for a modern Jeep to take over trail duties from their XJ should look at a 4-door wrangler. Body-on-Frame, cargo space, suspension is right.. it was built for that. And

The MW3 Wrangler is actually one of the few special editions worth calling special. It's just saddled with an unfortunate moniker and branding. Lots of factory-sanctioned AEV parts on that Jeep, though.

The mk4 VW R32 in Deep Blue Pearl. Beautiful, powerful, and the pinnacle of classy hot hatch.

Any of you guys have experience with getting an automated ticket for a car that you've since sold? Ticket was before the sale, but didn't arrive until after. To pay or not to pay... that is the question.
