If you’re making that much money, you don’t want to be looking for some low-paying job. You need instead to be figuring out how to invest the money you do have, and live off investment income. That will give you the freedom to do whatever the fuck you want, 24hrs a day.

Telling the wife will not be without repercussions for the LW. And hasn’t she been through enough shit already, what with being subjected to 7 years’ deceit? The marriage is not her problem. She needs to wipe her hands of the situation, refocus her life and take care of herself.

Well said. There is no “license” for parenthood. There is no mandatory training. Everybody and anybody who wants a child is pretty much free to have one. And due to the nature of sexuality and fertility, a huge percentage of people who don’t want them find themselves having children anyway.

Thank you for sharing your friend’s story. It’s left me crying for Michelle, Kody and in frustration for the madness overtaking our country.

Thanks for pointing this out. I live alone and always seem to find something to keep me occupied and interested. That being said, I do get lonely on occasion, and thankfully have several friends and people-centric activities with which I can engage.
