“you look like you’ve fallen over in the playground”

Not nearly enough kinetic energy to trigger the reaction, I would assume. If a light pole fell onto a tank in while in the tankyard you wouldn’t want the whole damn place exploding.

So why didn’t they disrupt the pole??

What OldFirmCasual said. Modern tanks now wear ERA, explosive reactive armor, to protect against explosively formed projectile or sabot weapons. Basically, you have two metal plates sandwiched around an explosive core; when the round hits the explosive detonates and the two plates disrupt the shot.

More than likely the “damage” to the armor was the reactive armor canisters on the side of the tank and not the actual armor.

Joe is 74 years old. He worked hard all his life and then became a great politician who ended up being next to the most powerful man in the universe. Now their 8 years are done and an orange guy lives in their house.

Even if the nose of the car is pointed more than 90* into the apex, some of these cars have up to a 70* degree steering angle (that’s forklift territory), and the front wheels are still capable of pulling the nose back into the turn. Think about it this way, if you’re at a 140* angle, it should only take just over 50*

Now playing

I never cease to be amazed by the incredible beauty and precision of the drone shots coming out of the WRC. It wasn’t that long ago that shots of a vehicle of this caliber required coordination between film crews and drivers, practice runs, and multiple takes. Now we’re getting stuff like this from a live sporting

It’s kind of ridiculous how much South Korean cars have improved over the last 15 years or so.

It’s all about the π × r2 bro

What if instead of fart-pipes, these are actually giant pan flutes for your car?

Only three? Child’s play.

How does someone with such poor car control get to drive LMP?

Left hand down a bit?

Very fishy to me. As a Navy veteran, I can tell you that on top of all the highest technological radar and early warning equipment, our ships have more people on deck with binoculars than the stands at a NASCAR event. I honestly can’t see any legit reason this could happen.

i had no idea. there’s an engineer from the norcal coast who drives one and we all thought he was just really eccentric and liked mismatching colors. in fact, his attire was often harlequined

These things sold so poorly new Jim Ellis VW in Atlanta Took 4 apart and made them single color cars to get them off their lot. I had a sales weasel when they were new try to sell me one because “They were popular in Europe and would show your sophistication”

This is the Ferrari Lusso that I want:
