depending on how severe the burn is, NEVER EVER PUT ANYTHING ON A FRESH BURN!!! Especially any oils, why? What happens with butter when you put it in a pan? It melts and cooks, you do not want butter to COOK on your skin. Did it blister? that is important to know.
