Traffic regularly moves at 85mph in the left lane during my commute. Doing that in 5th on my car would put it at ~3500rpm which is just dumb.

Also standard cruising speed during non-traffic hours in SoCal.

Exactly. Only someone who never drives long commutes on the highway would ever think 5 gears is sufficient.

yellow definitely doesn’t work for most cars. I’ll make an exception for jeeps and sports cars. Those two can be pretty much any color and work well.
