Very cool. As a very happy Mk6 GTI owner, I appreciate the type of fun that can be had in a hot hatch. Glad to hear that there’s another option with the N in the mix.

Kia is killing it lately. I feel like they’re pumping out the cool cars that Nissan and Mitsubishi used to make. I hadn’t really seriously considered a Stinger, though I always admire them when I see them on the roads.  Now that they’re depreciating into my price range, maybe I’ll take a look at one when it’s time to

Hopefully we actually get to see something from this studio. I feel sorry for everyone working on Stadia that got kicked to the curb by the Google, and I’m not sure the environment at EA was much better. If anyone can help her finally release a new game, it’s Sony. I’m cautiously optimistic & hopeful for good news in

The fact that you’re paying the same price today for a car that’s now 5 years older should tell you that inflation has changed.

I find myself caring slightly less about graphical fidelity for games that I can play on the go with my Switch. The convenience of playing where and when I want is definitely nice. Don’t get me wrong - I love playing games like The Witcher 3 in 4k on my 65" TV, but the ability to take it on the go or play in bed lets

Even budget cell phones have 128GB these days. A portable gaming system needs more than 32GB of storage. 500GB would be fantastic, but I’d be surprised if they go above 128GB.

Congrats on the Cruiser! I think you’re going to like this Toyota thing — at least as far as it helps you have a reliable way to tow and accumulate more Jeeps & Jeep parts!

Probably weighed too much for the brakes to stop it in time.  Tragic.

Indeed!  I think I’ll have to replay it again soon, but I’m still having a lot of fun chasing shiny legends in Shield.

I do that with my PC already. No XBOX required. Most games support controllers natively, so you probably just need a long HDMI cable.

I just saw one of these on the road the other day and had to do a double take. The profile is very striking, and I think the grill makes for one of the most attractive modern front ends I’ve seen in a while. Every other company seems to have gaping maws of metal and plastic on their front ends, but these tastefully

ORAS did such a terrific job at “modernizing” (as much as Pokemon games are modern) Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald on a new platform. It remained true enough to the original, while adding a great deal of worthwhile content. Hopefully they add some fun endgame/unique content that expands upon the original a bit.

Pokemon Red was the ultimate gateway JRPG for a pre-teen. I had seen friends play Final Fantasy VI(back when it was called III on SNES), but the turn based battles just didn’t interest me at the time. Then my best friend gave me Pokemon Red for my birthday and all of a sudden it *clicked* and turn based battles made

While I was hoping for Sword & Shield quality graphics, I don’t mind this. If they include some new content (Platinum, and surprises like Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire), I’ll be pretty happy. At first impression, it looks like it should be $40 game, and not a $60 game, but if there’s enough new & worthwhile content I’ll

Nice find, glad to see it found a good home! Though I still think you should have picked up the Toyota Land Cruiser from a couple weeks back.  Treat yo’self, two-thousand-twenty-one!

Their stock price has little to do with their car quality or their business practices - it’s all hyped by how people feel about papa Musk and electrification. Jalopnik isn’t a financial blog - it’s a car blog. Tesla’s stock price is much less interesting to most of us than talking about how there aren’t enough sporty

I’d like to thank Consumer Reports for keeping the resale price on Land Rovers suitably low for me to consider risking the college tuition of my future children on one

I used to be like you. But I have a Mk6 GTI and had a Mk5 Golf. Both had the ignition cylinder fail in such a way that the ignition either wouldn’t allow the car to turn off, or would ALSO force the key to be stuck in the ignition. The dealer quoted a $600 fix for a KNOWN defective part. It cost me about $150 in parts

I’ve been considering this for quite a while. I think 150 miles is probably the sweet spot for most suburban families. More would be nice, but not required for most cases.
