And the GUNSHOT when you select NEW GAME from the menu! Gives me chills still.

On the other other hand: If I’m spending my hard earned money on a (single-player) game, I’m going to play it however I want.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, because I’m hyped for Cyberpunk and the Netflix show. I recently started reading the books for the first time, and it motivated me to replay the game now that I have a bit more background knowledge. I just downloaded a few mods and started a New Game+ to see how things play out if I pick Yen over

Exactly. The books came before the game. Take a 🌟

I really enjoyed Sun/Moon, but never could get into the competitive scene because after skipping Gen 5 & 6, there were just too many damn Pokemon to keep track of. While Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee were overly simplified, it was definitely a fun gateway back into competitive battling for a jaded fan like me.

Final Fantasy 6.

Honestly: Pokemon. It’s a fun formula that has been steadily improved over the past 20 years. It’s easy to pick up and play for 5 minutes or 5 hours. It doesn’t demand quick reflexes, so it’s easy to play while doing other things, like watching baseball or watching for your train/bus stop. You can breed, trade, and

I’m ok with this. Let’s Go was a fun diversion from the Sun & Moon metagame because of the smaller pool of ‘mons to choose from.

But!!!! It’s CDPR! One of the few studios I want my money to go to...

I think this stat is skewed, as most CD Projekt Red fans will be buying Cyberpunk 2077 from GoG.

Keanu had me at Cyberpunk.

Great game! I’ve always loved Pokemon, but was intimidated by the sheer amount of Pokemon in Soon/Moon, so I never did any online battles. Lets Go was an easy gateway to competitive battling & team building since there are only 150 Pokemon to keep track of. The battles are less focused on stats and more centred on pick

I never even played it, but I love the combat music.

As much as I love Halo, I just didn’t get sucked in to 4 or 5 as much as I did the previous games. I usually stick to the co-op stuff, so the lack of splitscreen was a big turn off. Halo 4 & 5 checked off all the technical stuff, but the moment to moment gameplay just didn’t hook me the way it used to.

Excellent game! They really nailed the high-flying sensation of webslinging across New York, and captured the essence of Peter Parker. If you were on the fence for any reason, buy it now!!!

I’m in the same age range as you, but my sister is 7 years younger than I was, so I ended up watching quite a lot of SpongeBob with her. It’s definitely a silly kids show first, but with episodic gems featuring the music of Pantera, or an aging superhero combo inspired by Adam West’s Batman, there’s much more depth

Yes. Well worth it, too.

Not if you buy the Master Ball.

I saw the movie on Friday and thought it was fine. Is definitely aimed more at kids, but I mostly enjoyed it. I didn’t expect to see so many Pokemon! Within the first few minutes, they must have shown at least 50 different Pokemon, including a nod to Cubone’s disturbing backstory.  It was really fun to see all the
